A busy last week of term

Maths Whole School Focus Target

Class 4 have been good Maths Buddies in assembly this half term as they have showed us how to multiply and divide decimals in a practical way; modelled on the whiteboard how to work out the diameter and radius of a circle; sung some fun times tables songs.

Pets in Class 2

Thank you to all those parents who brought their pets into class 2 this week. The children, and staff thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Class 1 Painting Project

Ricoh will be painting Class 1 on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th October during half term. This is part of their company commitment to volunteering in the community.  We are very grateful for their support and Mrs Clewett for organising. A huge thank you also to, Peter Boyson, from Boyson Construction for supplying all the paint and materials.  A community that works together, achieves together. (Mrs Fountain will also be on site).

Promoting our Fantastic School

Thank you to all those who have volunteered to deliver leaflets around our local community. It feels very heart-warming to receive so much support.

Harvest Festival

It was great to see so many parents, carers, siblings and villagers at our Harvest Festival this week.

Thank you for all your kind donations. We received a very generous amount this year and all goods were taken to the Hope Centre in Northampton by our Governor—Abi Ewen (Olivia and Sophie’s mum).

The children sang and smiled their way through the service. As well as being a range of beans! and dancing a few Tango moves!

Thank you also to our thoughtful and fun teachers who help our children to express themselves through music, action, song and dance.
